my sons Toshiba laptop is playing up, the keyboard became largely unresponsive. he rebooted the whole system from scratch but even though its improved some of the keys still wont respond - any ideas?? thanx

Spilt a drink on it by chance??
Would be worth plugging in an external keyboard (if you have one) to confirm whether it is a hardware or software issue.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

are you saying even on an external keyboard, the same keys don't work, and you've already reinstalled windows?
try without battery, try safe mode!!
