i know but this time it looks like they know what they are doing. be carefull, my word of advice is:
For those with out a VIP slot, the VIP sale starts 5pm, why? because there is no next day delivery after 3pm or 4pm, that way they can keep on top of VIP's and no scams.
Here's my answer;
For those without a VIP slot, order just before 3pm Thursday, that way you'll be garunteed a next day delivery plus there wont be time for your order to be scrutinized!!
Take my word for it, its rare for the sale to start 5pm, it means there's 24hrs for the checking process.
And you dont want your account cancelled

Im fairly sure last time they did the same thing ,stopped the code working & then it was working again & someone said it was for staff to do there shopping. So I keep checking!

yes i've used my gift card on line, it'll appear in the checkout page, look for the gift card box!!

I hear what you are saying - but it's hardly a scam. At the end of the day we are all account holders and we will all have to pay for our items - we are not tyring to 'steal' anything. If, as someone has suggested, we may have ordered our items in the timeslot allocated for staff, then the code must have been 'leaked' by a member of staff and it is this person that is in the wrong - not us!!

Why would they go to the bother of cancelling your order?

It is the same money that they would get off of a VIP slot except they would be creating work to cancel the dodgy order, just can't see it.

I have a confirmation for the order tonight with a breakdown of all the half price items

I think if anyone's order gets cancelled it will be because of a discrepancy with their account.

Ps the poster that mentioned having money paid back into their account, how does this work as I thought you get an invoice about 4 weeks after the order, can you pay through switch?

They will NOT cancel the orders... it will cost them too much - time and effort !
