There's a pair of shoes I wanted in the sale however the size I want is no longer available. They have a larger size only.
I noticed the same shoes are in the Autumn/Winter directory and website. They cost a lot more and I was thinking if I should buy the larger size and then wait a bit and exchange the larger size for the one I want when the new Autumn/Winter range is available?
bet they have a different item number though in the new catalogue???0 -
Yes if you buy them now it will be x39 at the end, autumn winter items have x40 at the end. Don't Next only use the first six digits as a reference though?0

Spotted an advert in the metro this morning - some stores in central london started the sale today. I was planning to go to my local one at lunchtime anyway to scope out potential work suits and the sizes i would need in advance of tomorrow, so I took an early lunch and went to the one in Bow Lane. It was practically empty of people (might have been due to the downpour though!) and I picked up some lovely bits. Spent waaaay too much money though.
I didn't keep the metro and can't remeber which stores it was, off the top of my head there was one around liverpool street and a couple in victoria. maybe the next website will tell you?
am well chuffed with my haul, and all without having to brave the hordes of bargain hunters tomorrow! will definitely keep an eye out for this next time round.
hope that helps any of you with access to central london!0 -
I've just missed one slot, so going to go for the later one, but I couldn't sign in as I didn't have a password, and none of mine would work. I tried opening next.co.uk on a different page, but that didn't worh either??0

yes they only use the first 6 digits, when you order the item they want to know x40/x39 etc so they know which publication you got it out of - has no real use. then when the item comes it will have three numbers at the end on the invoice instead of the x39 this refers to the size of the item.
so as long as the first 6 digits are the same you should in theory be able to do that cs95aam.Member No. 11 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club! 102 to go.0 -

I'm gonna try and get loads of lil outfits for my 5 month old baby girl and loads of other stuff for me and the other 3 kids. I won't sleep tonight I'm sooooo excited!!0

Hiya again junkie, know what you mean about holes, never get them till you take the darn sales tags out though. Why do they have to put the sales tags through the shoulder of the clothes, why can't they put them on the inside label like the original tag..grr. My store usually forgets to red dot the items. Don't think I've ever had a red dot in a sale item!! Have your store stopped giving you the hangers? Mine did at the last sale, March was it?? They SA felt sorry for me and let me keep a few. Hope they give me them all this time. It takes even longer when they have to stand there taking the hangers off things!!0

Mine always give all the hangers, one time I told them I didnt want them & they said they had to leave them as it takes too long to take them off, so annoying makes it weight twice as much!!0
