Missed payments on account - strange situation

Hi all.
The story is that 2 years ago i took out a contract for my at the time fiancee. We split up this time last year and she kept the contract going however repeatedly missed payments due to changing jobs. In total she missed 10 out of 12 payment dates (which i wasnt happy with because it was affecting my score). We tried time and time again to get the contract switched to her name and whilst they did switch the name of the account user they did not switch the account holder (me). Therefore i have 10missed payment alerts on my credit score which have nothing at all to do with me. I was just wondering if there was some way i could get these taken off?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
PS. Also i dont know if it makes any difference but when i initially took out the contract from Orange the store rep said he was only "going to see if i was eligible" for a contract, lied about me being a homeowner, if i remember correctly lied about my age and put false details down about my employment. He then turned around and told me i had the contract.

I think you are stuck with the late markers.
Have you sorted it so it's no longer in your name? That's the highest priority.
Not sure about the stuff with the rep. Were you under 18?:beer:0 -
Your contract, your problem I'm afraid.
You should never take on a contract for somebody else, but if you feel you absolutely must then you should pay it yourself and ask the person to pay you. That way you'll never miss a payment even if they don't pay you, and you won't have adverse markers on your file. What will your verse be?

BIB: if this is the case, then surely fraud has been committed? Why on Earth did he feel the need to falsify information to enable you to get a contract?!It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
