Does it look like a bite everyone?
She also has identical one other side and one on her head0 -
I'm rubbish at telling these things. It may be that she got stuck or it may be a bite.
Malevolent cat was allergic to fleabites and used to come up in scabs. It reminds me a little of that. The first sign that fleas had got in was usually malevolent cat with a fat lip. Are there any more scabs?
Looking closer, it does look nasty.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Melly I have stared for some time at the pic but image is not clear enough to see very closely . Can you actually see teeth marks ? It would be difficult to inflict bites on opposite sides and head as LBG would be squirming and struggling . I am thinking along the flea reaction mentioned by Sybil or maybe some sort of mites . Did she have her collar on when she got home ? Cats can do a lot of damage if they get trapped somewhere like a prickly plant or tight spaces and often will either lose the collar or it will self release . The location of the image you show suggests it would be under a collar . Sorry I'm not being much help . As you can see the wound yourself I suggest doing some googling for comparisons .It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Unless it was something bigger than a cat which bit her; a dog, maybe? The only way to be sure is for a vet to look at her. Are you looking after her while her humans are away? If so, do you have a contact number for them? Would they pay any vet's bill you incurred on behalf of their tigger?
Sorry, mellymoo, it is not possible for these eyes to tell from a picture what the issue is. Could you possibly call your vet and ask him/her to look at the picture once you have emailed it? They would probably just tell you to bring her in, though.0 -
Smodlet I did consider a larger animal but would have expected more damage . I know she was shaken up last night but in the pic she is eating normally today , having seen cats attacked by dogs and foxes I would expect her to be much more stressed and injured . As she is quite nervy I don't think she would be eating normally today .

She wouldn't pol she's way to nervy
They are puncture wounds
She doesn't wear a collar so it's not that.
When she shows up later I will bathe and powder again. Also check they have stopped oozing.
My beautiful cats are being angelic.
Tomcat demanded front door access and dinner. Then he showed me how good he is at scratching stuff outside.
Me telling him he's fabulous led to the other two running from the bedroom out the window lol.
All fed
All out0 -
No smodlet LBG is the regular (several times a day) visitor that is conning OH into feeding her despite her having a home lol.
I know (or think I do) who owns her and they don't mind her coming here0
