Moving Overseas - Defaulting on Loan?
Comments
-
I'm fleeing the UK next month with four £2,000+ loans totally unpaid. I've been told by many (reliable) sources that know one will chase you and all record of your loan will vanish AFTER 6 MONTHS of leaving the country. I honestly don't understand why anyone would repay a loan. Here's to good times in Aruba! Best of luck pal.0

You sources seem to be far from being reliable.
Why on earth will they "vanish AFTER 6 MONTH"?!0 -
Definitely 6 months when you go anywhere in the south Caribbean! It's generally an unwritten rule but it's something to do with your records being re-set if you reside in that particular geographical area for over half a year. Superb right?! I'm heading back to the UK in July and I'm going to take loans out all over again! It's free money!

Just £2000 LOL, and as you are no doubt one of life's losers you will fail abroad and come back with your tail between your legs after 3-6 months and find your credit rating and life trashed lol0 -

Yes, and this particular poster will have to be back in the UK next month to sit his exams, hopefully horribly red and sunburnt.
And they'll probably fail Law, Maths, and Business Studies.0
