Anyone else had their Consumer Pulse points redemption cancelled recently?
  • Yes, I had just ordered Argos vouchers with my points and got the email to say they have frozen redemption due to a problem on their system.
I emailed them to ask if my order would still be sent and they said no, it would be cancelled but the fault should be fixed next week so I can re-order.
I hope they don't mess up everyone's points again like they did last time

Me too, applied for B&Q cards but now told that they have been cancelled until they sort out the problem at their end.

Site still giving a "maintenance" message so we can't check our balance. However only one weekday of this week has passed. I suppose we have to wait till next Saturday.

Except for cases where they may have over-awarded points which meant there were not actually enough for an order, why they have to cancel the order when they have worked out who has ordered redemptions, I don't understand.

I'd ordered mine just a week before they decided to review what was happening.

Any way, today received an email that they had now processed the cancellation and the points had been added back to my account.

Still can't check the account though.

ETA: Now Wednesday and still no access to statement part of website.
  • So points for previously ordered vouchers have been added back to the account.  And almost as many points deducted but with no explanation of why.  Shoddy!
Have re-ordered and await delivery of physical cards.

I lost 16,500 points and was going to ring up to find out why, but decided to check my account first and saw I had received duplicate points for the last two weeks in January and when I checked the duplicate points came to the 16,500 points they had deducted.

But wouldn't it have been nice if they had told you that and given the time frame that the duplication occurred rather than just saying there had been technical issues and an apparent arbitrary deduction of points?

Hi, I've been wondering about this. How many Argos vouchers can you use online or in store at once? I find it really limiting that all the options (apart from £25 Argos and £25 Debenhams) are only available as £10 vouchers. I want to save up for more expensive things but not sure if I'll be able to use enough vouchers at one time to be able to do that.
