Amazon used to be available as rewards at CP, but they removed them as 'conflict of interest' because you could use them to buy things you would then log on CP - their reasoning in the email sent, not mine!

ETA - I had to go back to Nov 2009 to find the last time I redeemed for Amazon vouchers - it was long before the changes to what you log came in :)

Thats an insane reason they've given: I ask for Topshop vouchers which I use on clothes, I then log these on CP! They ask for everything I buy to be logged, they have never specified not to log those you use CP vouchers on!

I think there must be more to it then that- maybe they had a falling out on a corporate level or were one of those who decided against Amazon when Amazon sold a controversial book some years ago.

I think its because everyone was getting amazon vouchers and they can get a better rate on buying other vouchers in, They dont pay the full price for them from what i have read. Example they might only pay £9 for a £10 deb voucher were as they might have to pay £9.75 for a amazon one.

I agree, they need to put more rewards on. I have been collecting my points for absolutely ages, I think a good few years and have now saved over £600 worth. I want to cash them in, but I would not use any of the current rewards. Eeeek. What to do? One of my friends said to cash them in asap because if CP was to go bust, I would lost each and every last point.

I have read on here of people being taken off the program without warning and losing all thier points so if you can decide to spend the rewards its probably better than the chance they may do the same to you.
Apparently they say thanks for your time with us but we now have too many members in your area and thats it

I struggle to spend the points now too, I only ever got Amazon vouchers but the choice is just rubbish now. I wrote to them too asking about Amazon and they made the same non sensical excuse to me too, everyone knows its nonsence so why don't they just be honest and say they took them off because it was no longer financially in thier interest to keep them on
    Thanx

Oh err. I have emailed a few times asking if my points would be safe if I did not use them up and they said fine. But just this week, I got a rather strange email saying "YOU HAVE INPUT TOO MUCH SHOPPING THIS WEEK". Not sure why, buying a new pair of trainers, 2 tops and some pants is not too much for a normal person to buy once in a while is it?

I am going to ask my family members if they would use any of the vouchers and use up my points before I get booted. Thanks for the information LADY K, loads of love x x
  • How long after you receive a voucher do you have to spend it?

They do Marriott cheques and e-codes for another travel place - perhaps you could have a weekend away or something? That's a lot of points! I've got £40 worth of Marriott cheques on the way from ConsumerPulse/ValuedOpinions/ShopAndScan to knock down the cost of my weekend away in a couple of weeks :)

I didn't actually realise that ConsumerPulse don't have Amazon ones...I guess I'll use the rest for some meals out or something - I do have a soft spot for Pizza Hut!

Hahah, it doesn't help that I have about £800 worth of Tesco vouchers still to use up, so those are for mini breaks and hotels.

Just had a look at the all the rewards and the only one that jumped out at me was House Of Fraser and Pizza Hut. Looks like little old me will have to go and get loads of new Superdry clothes with my vouchers at House Of Fraser. I can't justify £600 worth of pizza. I would have to move into the gym. Many thanks for the tip KATEXX

Could maybe get some topshop vouchers or something like that then ebay them for the cash if it's not something you'd specifically use? :o
