Ford Mondeo Glow Plug Coil Light

Maybe I'm just showing my ignorance. But what the hell does it matter what the light is doing just so long as the engine starts.
I'm guessing that the OP wants to know if there is a fault so they can get it fixed before warranty runs out and/or winter arrives when the glow plugs will be needed0 -
The flashing glowplug light has no link to whether the glowplugs are working or not.
The light serves 2 roles. Switch the ignition on and it will glow for a few seconds to show the glowplug circuit should be powered. It will light even if they are not though.
After those few seconds the light takes on a new role of engine management warning lamp. It will flash in this role.
It could be anything turbo or fuel system related.
Also when its flashing the car will be in a reduced power get you home mode.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
