Cheap Sod Turf?

I'm looking online to have some turf delivered.
I only need as little as 2.5m2 but they seem to be making me order a minimum of 10m2 which is costing around £60.
Does anywhere know of any cheap places that can deliver, as I do not have transport so it will be a struggle carrying it home.
I'm from St Helens, UK.

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘In my home’ board to the ‘Greenfingered’ board, where it is better suited.

My Homebase usually have rolls for sale you can take away straight away or try a garden centre if you take something to wrap them in a taxi might be a cheaper option than paying for delivery. A couple of blue Ikea bags might workSave £12k in 25 No 49

Grass seed might be a better option. Slower, but cheaper. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
