I got an interesting letter from the council today, warning me that somebody has filed a complaint about the noise from my chickens.
I suppose I could pick up the phone and give them a call, but I thought it might be more fun to wait until the enforcement man turns up on the doorstep, especially as I don't have any chickens.
If the neighbours chickens are making as much noise as they usually do when he arrives he'll probably go away again without noticing they're there.

Call them, ask them to come and visit - when on the phone say "can you speak up please - I cannot hear you for the chickens noise" etc. 0

If they ask say you do have a chicken in the house...in the oven / fridge to be exact but if its clucking its definately underdoneSpelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...
