Peppa pig world, how to get there from train station?

We've booked to go to peppa pig world this Easter Monday. When booking their website indicates there is a bus service from Southampton centra train station to the park. I've just looked up the times of the bus on traveline and appears it doesn't run at all bank holiday Monday. I'm hoping this is wrong as surely the bus would run on the days the park is open!?

Can anyone help me that maybe lives local or has been before on a bank holiday? Not sure how else to get to the park if there isn't a bus. I suppose I could get a taxi but we won't have our baby seats with us.

This isn't going to help, but as well as the X7 bus not running on Easter Monday (a Sunday service is provided on the bank holidays and there are no X7s on a Sunday), are you aware that there are no trains to Southampton Central all weekend? See here.
Rail replacement buses are running instead.

Transportdirect shows that it might be possible by bus, but by changing at Romsey.
But take care... Transportdirect doesn't seem to know that there are no X7 buses on Monday, nor does it know about the train disruption around Southampton this weekend.

Depends where you are travelling from, but a train to Romsey, maybe changing at Eastleigh, might be the way to go.
Less that five miles by taxi from there.

I noticed that part of my journey was replaced by a bus. I didn't think to check bus times before booking as even where I live there are buses on bank holidays and I live in the sticks. I have prepaid for the train tickets so can't change it but Im sure its only 8 miles ish from Southampton Central isn't it?

Looks as thought we will have to get a taxi, I assume there is a taxi rank at the station? Is there any chance the taxi rank will be shut as there are no trains ?

I really don't like the thought of using a taxi with no baby seat, do taxis provide them like they do here?

I just saw your post, I live locally to Paulton's Park. It looks like the x7 bus service no longer runs on a Sunday, so means it won't run on a bank holiday either.
There is a taxi rank outside Southampton central, I think it will be quite expensive though. If you get a taxi returning from paulton's to Southampton central, then the cheapest taxi's around would be the Beeline taxis (totton).
  • We got a taxi from southampton airport parkway in the end, it cost us £25 each way. I prebooked so we could have a baby seat. The rail replacement bus to southampton central was over about an hour.
