Anyone one here know of any cheap Holiday sites/ travel agents to book through?
Have been looking at Thomas Cook online and their prices are through the roof
Seems that living in N.Ireland and wanting to go on holiday abroad just means money signs for travel agents these days

We use Jet2holidays.com. They've a good 22kg hold baggage allowance and 10kg hand luggage.

Never have had any problems with them. Holidays do seem more expensive this year.0 -

Thanks, will have a look now. I'm looking for my own family, and then my sister and her family. The cheapest I've found so far is £625 per person for Self catering:eek: I've a feeling this wee family won't be going anywhere but Botanic gardens for the summer!Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Look at all inclusive holidays - they may cost a bit more up front but theres really no spend at all once you get there.
We were paying £650 each for a self catering holiday and then usually spending £100 a day between us when we got there on food and drink, but last year and this year have opted for all inclusive - its costing us approx £700 for a decent four star all inclusive but last time we literally spent £0 the whole time we were there.
We've been using https://www.thomson.co.uk. Flexible easy to use site, and all their holidays reference tripadvisor so you can see what other people have thought.

I'm looking anytime from 28th June to the 10th July, We always go away for the silly season.
I have been looking at All inclusive, but to be honest we wouldn't get the money's worth TBH. Also I don't like 4* hotels etc. HAve stayed in them before are they are too restrictive esp for the children. The last 2 we stayed in the children weren't even allowed to have a small ball in the pool! So we went to the beach everyday.
We also prefer self catering as we can eat when we want, and it's much more relaxed. We don't spend much food wise, as the children are happy with sandwiches at Lunchtime and a yoghurt, with snacks in between. We don't drink much either as the children are with us.
Although if the prices are worth it we might just bite the bullet and go again.
Will keep an eye out for the HOTUKDeals also, and will go have a look at Terra travel now.
I'm just shocked at how much the prices have went up TBH. Last year we got 2 weeks in Lanzarote for £500 each! Now to stay in the same place on the same dates it's almost £700:eek:
Thanks for all your tips thoughMuch appreciated

Not sure if it is a fact or not but I get the impression that the number of holiday companies flying from Belfast has gone down over the last number of years. This has resulted in heavier demand on the holidays that are available, which has kept the prices up.0
