Hi all
I'm a first time user and so would like to start by saying thanks to Martin (MSE). He should be knighted.
Secondly, does anyone know where one can buy a good new/used/second hand/refurbished laptop. I need one fairly urgently so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. :T

Hi,
You could try looking on the Techie Board where one of the threads is the Great Cheapest Laptop Hunt (it's a sticky at the top of the board) and you could try the Quick Grabbit while you can Board where you might spot a bargain too.Torgwen.....................

I buy them off eBay.
Hunt for a seller in your area with crap/low feedback so other people are put off bidding in the auction. Then when you have won the auction you can go and pick the laptop up. This way you can see it working before handing over the cash.0
