when son gets to 20

I'm new to this & its my first posting. My son is 19 & still in fulltime education till June 2015 then he's hoping to get into Uni. At the moment I still get child benefit, child tax credits for him & CSA payments from my ex. I know child tax credits, child benefit & the CSA payments will stop when he reaches 20 regardless of whether he's still in education, what I'd like to know now is how will this affect my Housing benefit & ESA benefit? will it stop completely or will I get a reduced amount & if so, approximately how much less will I get? Guess I'm trying to prepare well ahead for the reduction in money as I'm disabled & work out if I need to move to a different place with cheaper rent. I'm a private tenant.
Thanks if anyone can enlighten me a bit : )

When your son goes to university your ESA will not be affected.
As regards your housing benefit you will be entitled to the 2 bed rate of local housing allowance as you are now if your son intends to return home for the holidays. (I am assuming that you are a single parent with just the one son)
Are you receiving full HB at the moment?0 -
the ESA might change if you are on income based ESA and receive the severe disability premium.
when child related benefits stop, then you are classed as living with a non dependant adult and would no longer be classed as living alone

yes I get full HB & council tax benefit. my son will still be living at home as the Uni is not far.0 -
When your son is in FT education (at Uni) you will be able to have him dispregarded from the CT payments.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Students are disregarded for council tax purposes, and no deductions are made from LHA for full-time students.

He will also be disregarded as regards any non dependant deduction for housing benefit as he is/will be a full time student.

So it looks like the only possible reduction might be from your ESA.
Are you receiving DLA and receiving the severe disability premium? if so you will lose it because when your son becomes a non dependant you will not be classed as living alone.0
