Returning to learning and fees

HI

I left school with 1 o level and a bunch of cse's. I am now interested in studying for a degree BSC in Psychology. In order to do this I need to do an access course. I am 51

I've been told that I would be able to apply to Student Finance for my course fees and possible a maintenance loan. My question is will I still be eligible for a student loan to pay the tuition fees for the degree as well? Its a 3 year course.
