Cooker repairs?

We have a 5 year old baumatic dual fuel range cooker that has just started making a banging noise in the main oven. We don't think it's the fan that's the issue but obviously have no idea.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of cooker repairs/ finding someone reputable to do it? Husband has found somewhere online that is £135 for call out and repair which seems ok but if it doesn't fix it we are then obviously out of pocket.
We've got 5 years out of it - is it now at the end of its life?
Any advice would be great.

What sort of a banging noise ???
In an electric fan oven about the only moving part would be the fan would it not??
Does it sound like a fan blade catching something ??
If you go here & put in your model number you can get an idea of the price of parts ie fan motors etc.

£135 sounds a lot for a call out and whenhe gets there it will probably start going up. i agree that it points to the fan, Not much else moves to make any noise,
Start looking at some YouTube vids to see if anything there gives you a clue, these things are often easy to fix.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

The noise is there even when the fan setting isn't on though that's why we don't think it's the fan.
Thanks for your replies - will have a look at links and vids.0 -
Could it be the metal sides of the oven expanding when they heat up. It's probably pretty thin steel sheets and if any of the screws have worked their way loose.
While it's cold try to see if the sides; roof; or base shake. Or even the shelves.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
