I've been watering them in this dry spell but not too much, the leaves haven't fallen off,but looking very sick and brownish.

Did you harden them off when you got them? Or did it say you didn't need to?

Thanks for the phone number, I'll be ringing them tomorrow about 9.30 ish

I'll ring about 12.30 as I have an appointment.

Jessica: I don't remember there being any instructions with them. What do you mean 'harden' them please? Too late for this batch.

Harden them off ?? There was no instructions with them.
Because they were so small I but in pots to let them grow a little bigger. alas they won't be growing anymore. I'm not a novice gardener and I know how to pot plug plants before final planting, these just died.

My lavender have all died too! All the other offers/cheapies I have received and planted are doing well...so far. It will be interesting to see how green my fingers really are in the end :D

    And ours have died too.

Very odd - never known anything like it - a batch of perfectly healthy-looking plants, which should have had a long life ahead of them, potted up, not too wet, not too dry - and yet they gradually all turned brown and snuffed it.

I am not sure my lavender grow. I put 3 of them on the ground and 9 in pots in different locations. I wonder which one will survive

Assuming I buy more plug lavender in the future, how should I grow them please?

Mine died too! I thought it was just me being absolutely useless, although my mother expressed shock that I'd even managed to kill Lavender...

Mine are still alive but I wouldn't say they are thriving especially compared to the one's I got from Aldi and the Range recently.
