Free Lavender
I saw this offer over on HUKD for 12 super plug plants for free need to pay the £4.99 postage.I am so keen on making a Lavender "hedge" are these suitable for that purpose please? I was first looking at Dwarf Lavender Munstead,which is most suitable please?

I'd be tempted to look around for a lavender plant and take cuttings. It's free and lavender is really easy to grow from cuttings. I had one seeded plant last year, took about 20 cuttings off it and had 21 plants very quickly after. They'll be about the same size as any plug plant you end up with.
Our local B&Q is on an industrial estate where there's thousands of lavender plants being grown as low level hedging. Lots of people go picking there.Tim0 -
Munstead is my favourite lavender. I've got two hedges of it in my garden.0
