Atos Medical Points Query

Husband just heard he has scored 0 points - so we have requested a Mandatory Reconsideration.
We are getting a doctors letter and I am putting together counter arguements to each of their assertions that he can do things easily.

Anyhow while googling I found a quote that is supposed to apply to the Atos criteria:

'It must be possiBle for all the descriptors to be completed reliably, repeatedly and safely, otherwIse the individual is considered unable to complete the activity.' Lord Freud (one time DWP MINISTER)

However not sure if its still relevant as the rules continually change - but looks like it means you have to be able to sustain and be able to repeat an activity - not just perform it once.

Does anyone know more about this?

Oh thanks very much - great news. It a very relevant point that the examiners don't seem to get so very useful to quote.

Hope you don't mind me butting in but there is a fourth for you to add to your descriptor statement. A person must be able to do the activity in a timely fashion as well. Timely means in less than twice the time it takes an 'able bodied' person to do the same activity. This may help when composing your statement. I am waiting for a decision myself after having an assessment (PIP).
