4. There are 28 prizes to be won as follows:
First prize of a trip for two to the Cuisinart resort and spa in Anguilla, comprises return flights for two people to Anguilla (premium economy), 7 nights' accommodation for two sharing a luxury room at the resort including breakfast, two-hour professional cooking class (subject to availability at time of trip), and spending money of £500 or local equivalent. Passengers must ensure that they have a valid passport, travel insurance, any applicable VISAs, and any necessary immunisations at the time of travel. Time of trip subject to availability but return travel must be completed by no later than April 2015. The prize may be provided by a third party, a tour operator or agent and bookings will therefore be subject to their standard terms and conditions and/or further conditions.
The second prize is two nights at the Watergate Bay Hotel for two people. Dinner on both nights in their restaurant Zacry's is included. Dinner does not include drinks. Any additional food and beverage is not included and will be charged in full. The prize also includes surf lessons with Extreme Academy, two 60 minute Swim Club treatments and First Class rail travel from First Great Western. Any extras not detailed in the prize will be charged in full. Booking is subject to availability and excludes school holidays (Cornish term time). The prize is valid for a year from the date it is awarded. The prize must not be used in conjunction with any other booking. Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
The third prize is a trip for four on Vestal Vodka's Vestal Voyage.
The fourth prize is afternoon tea at The Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell for four people. Valid from Monday- Friday from 3-5pm. The winner must email to redeem the prize. Contact petra@gemmabell.com to reserve.
The fifth prize is from IG Wines who will tutor a themed wine tasting for up to eight people. Exact products featured is subject to change without notice. Products featured are non-returnable.
The sixth prize is a Sous Vide Tools starter kit worth £374. Prize must be claimed (delivery address and delivery time confirmed) within 3 months of winner being announced. Subject to availability and in the event of the prize not being available sous vide tools reserves the right to offer a prize of the same value.
The seventh prize is for eight Amarula and coffee hampers. Delivery included.
The eighth prize is lunch at Flesh & Buns. Valid for six people. Valid only on a Sunday until November 2014. Choose from the pork special cut or aged rib of beef on the party flesh xxl menu, buns and fillings included (any extras to be charged). Magnum of sake included.0 -
The ninth prize is from La Patisserie des Reves. The prize winner and three friends, will be allowed into the store after closing on a day of their choice (as deemed suitable by both parties). The winner and their guests will then have half an hour to sample as many of the pastries as they wish. The only thing out of bounds, is the dried product range - the tins of nuts, salt, and so forth.
The tenth prize is dinner at Dishoom Shoreditch for up to six people. The meal includes a choice of dishes/drinks from the All Day menu, up to a maximum value of £300. The prize is not valid for use in December. Subject to availability. The winner must book to redeem the meal. Contact sarah@gemmabell.com to book.
The eleventh prize is for dinner at Launceston Place for two people. It includes a three course menu with a bottle of wine chosen by the sommelier. Offer is valid in 2014 and not available on Saturday nights or when the restaurant is already fully booked.
The twelfth prize is for dinner at Aqua Shard for four people. It will include wine chosen by the sommelier team at aqua shard, water and coffee. Offer only valid Monday-Thursday.
The thirteenth prize consists of a Cuisinart toaster and kettle set. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.0 -
The fourteenth prize consists of a one-day course for two people at Waitrose Cookery School in London. Prize includes up to £100 towards travel expenses as well as two cookery school aprons and a copy of Love to Cook.
The fifteenth prize is for eight tasting boxes of beer from Brighton Bier. Exact model of products featured is subject to change without notice. Delivery included.
The sixteenth prize is a luxury hamper of Carluccio goods chosen by Antonio Carluccio. Can only be delivered to UK mainland.
The seventeenth prize consists of a Weber® MasterTouch® charcoal barbecue.
5. The winners of the prize draw prizes will be the first 28 entries drawn at random from all eligible entries. Prizes will be awarded in the order they are drawn – i.e. first prize will be awarded to the first entry drawn, second prize to the second entry drawn and so forth.
6. The winners will be notified by email or phone within 28 days of the closing date. If any winner cannot be reached or has otherwise failed to acknowledge such notification within 7 days, GNM will re-draw and select a new winner of the relevant prize (and the same acceptance period will apply).
7. At the time of notification, each winner of a travel, accommodation or restaurant prize will be informed of how to make a booking.0 -
Reader Recipe Competition
8. There will be one winner of the reader recipe competition, selected from all eligible entries by the advertised OFM panel of judges. Following a short-listing process, the judges will choose their favourite food recipe as the winner, taking into account originality, how easy the recipe is to follow and how appetizing they consider it to be. We may also ask OFM / Guardian readers for comments via our website and the judges may take those views into account too.
9. The winners will be notified by email or phone on or before 31 July 2014 and invited to attend the OFM Awards ceremony, to be held on 16 October 2014, where the result will be officially announced. If a winner cannot be reached, has otherwise failed to acknowledge such notification within 7 days, or is unable to attend the OFM Awards ceremony, GNM may award the prize to the judges' second selection.
10. The winners will have their winning entries printed in the OFM Awards issue in October 2014 or (at GNM's sole discretion) at a later date.
11. By submitting a recipe entry, you give GNM:
(a) Permission for your entry to be published in any GNM publication and on theguardian.com and grant GNM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish your recipe in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with the OFM Awards (including, but not limited to, in the manner set out in paragraph 10 above); and (b) The right to use your name and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your recipe and/or as a winner of the recipe competition.
12. Recipe entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
13. All recipe entries must be original and created by you. GNM reserves the right to reject any entry that in its reasonable opinion it considers to be unoriginal or which should in whole or part be attributed to a third party.0 -

It worked for me but every time I opened a tab for voting inspiration and went back to it I had to start the process all over again. I got there in the end but it took awhile. It's very serious isn't it? For proper foodies. Fabulous prizes ( if you live in London) the Guardian/Observer often has good comps. I wished they'd announce winners though. I enter and forget all about them.0
