Anyone grow stuff in a "vegtrug" ?

They look like big tubs or raised beds and you can grow pretty much anything in them, only trouble will be as the sides curve up the soil will be shallower so avoid root veg at the edges, but salad leaves and most herbs are fine in shallow soil/compost.

Unless you really want this design, I would look for one that's more box shape. That way, everything you plant will have the same amount of compost to get roots into.
With children, it's always good to grow something that they like to eat.0 -
I have found my kids eat some things that we grew, that there is no way they would have had from the shops.
But big favs are strawberries, peas, mange tout and baby carrots.
