Cannot access The Times. Even with my mobile.
Can anyone else?
Its whole website appears to be down.
Could somebody confirm?

Thanks, matey. :money:
Simply wanted to check that it wasn't just me!
Much appreciated. :ANothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance

Yup
Down for me too0 -
The Bum's down, too.
Which is very odd. Not least because, as DCM has pointed out, the ST is still up (as is Times+) and they and The Times itself all share the same portal.
The sites affected have now been down for several hours.
Perhaps Rupert has decided to perform some crucifixions of his own, this year.
Alternatively, perhaps they decided to hire some new programmers from the same place they use to recruit their semi-literate sub-editors.
To be perfectly honest, I was a little concerned, at first, that they might have decided to retaliate against some fairly ripe and robust feedback I gave them last night when they started pestering me with in-system pop-ups on their web pages, asking me why I "prefer" (sic) The Times to other newspapers.
(You know what I can be like, when roused. :A )
So, before getting paranoid, I just wanted to check that their blockage was universal and not just of me!
Many thanks for your reassuring confirmations.

Update.
It's still broken but is now trying to get back up on to its knees.
It's prioritising. No access to any articles but it's sending out its pop-up market research questions again.
I now reckon it's the pop-up questions (which began late last night) that have crashed the entire sight.
I hope whatever genius came up with this has a watertight contract and a safe pension; they're going to need it.Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance

It's mended now .... for me anyway!0

Update.
Yep!
The Times is now, finally, back up again – without pop-up market research questions (so far…).
So, too, is The Bum.
Watch out for manned crucifixes in Wapping.

Can I recommend http://www.isup.me/ as a means of checking if a site is down, or it's "just me"
