Is there a web site for private rental?

Rather than go through Estate Agents of searching Rightmove etc.. Is there also a web site where house rentals are advertised privately?

Gumtree usually has private rentals advertised and I also use Citylets. Citylets seems to ocver Scotland, Northern Ireland and Newcastle.

It'll vary depending on where in the country you are. Start with your local paper, any local smallads-type site.

Don't rule out right move landlord can often use online agents like estates direct to get ads on the popular portals.
When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.

If you're on Facebook there may be a group for house rentals in your area.

Try Openrent website, private rentals only, no agents.
