    Morning all,

Happy birthday Hilstep and your GD. I hope you both have a lovely birthday._party_
Judi - I hope you can shoo that BD away x
Thanks, I'm sure I will at some point. Just not yet. Its funny how the house falls apart when I am at a low point. Theres a pile of washing waiting to be done and I haven't vacuumed upstairs for 2 days. I bought myself a cheap vacuum yesterday to keep upstairs as I'm sure dragging the other one upstairs isn't doing it a lot of good. I'll get round to it sometime today.

I'm waiting for my new leather 3 and 2 seater leather sofas to be delivered. I'm expecting them around mid day.

Hubby is at work and 'Youngest' has gone to have his hair cut. I did warn him that the hairdresser he usually goes to might be shut being good Friday but it fell on deaf ears.

Right, I'm off to try this new vacuum. The reviews were good and its lovely and light but the proof will be in using it, not just looking at it.

Pork for tea tonight I think.

    Onwards and forwards,
    have a great day all.

LW Glad you survived your appointment with the vampire, however, please check out with your Dr. As I was told as I drink black coffee with sweetener that was permissible before a fasting blood test, depending what they are looking for of course, but the standard sugar and cholesterol, seems to be OK. I would also ask about your medicine too.
Thanks, DG. I think it'll be OK; this was ordered up by the GP I saw on 3rd April for my regular meds review, simply because I haven't had a blood test in at least 2 years, probably 3. She was specific that I was allowed water only, unfortunately. She's also said not to worry, she'll call Mr LW if anything untoward shows up, but it's just a precaution as it's so long since it was checked (she's also newly qualified, so might be keen to do things by the book, iyswim).:o

I came over faint after my bath this morning for some obscure reason, and had to lie down; but I seem to be OK now.

Mr LW helped me walk the Princesses; he's going to come with us each time over the weekend - he takes Pandy, which means I just have Patsy to keep under control.:A We met loads of dogs in the field this morning; must be the nice weather brought them all out!:D Both girls are good with other dogs - Pandy barks at first, but she's all mouth and no trousers, and makes friends nicely after she's had her two penn'orth. Patsy just loves everybody, canine or human!:o

Mr LW has some work to do over the weekend - it's a one-off job, altering some scripts, and will take about 4 hours. He's cracking on with it now, to get it out of the way.:o

He's requested pasta with cheese sauce for dins, at midday-ish, so an easy meal, but I must go and crack on with it now.;) He's taking a time-out from his work to prep the cheese etc for me, to save my fingers.:A

    Afternoon all,

Bit cloudy here and chilly too. Washing on the line. Have been round the house dusting and cleaning the mirrors. I have to say I have recently started using the two coloured cloths from Wilkos (one wet, one dry) and they are brilliant and cheap!

DH and DS2 are off to footy this afternoon, can't believe they play on bank holidays and spoil the weekend (moan over).

DH and I are off to the caravan this evening for a couple of nights. It will be the first time on this site, so I hope it's good.

Happy Birthday to Hillstep and DGD :)

Judi - New suite, that will be lovely. Hope the hoover is good.

LW - hope you are ok after your fainting spell this morning.

    Have a good weekend.

I've got my kitchen curtains and back and front door curtains washed, dry, and rehung!!:T:D
I had a free sample of @riel liqui-tab which I used; I wasn't prepared to try it on my clothes, as I don't get on well with bio detergent, but for curtains, I figured it'd be fine.:money: I've got another one in the kitchen drawer, which I will keep til I do the bedroom curtains.;)

Oh boy, what a day, my beloved has had a cob on all day & has driven me mad with his moaning. I've spent most of the day in the kitchen avoiding him. He's gone upstairs for a nap, hopefully he'll be in a better mood when he comes back down. He has planted loads of potatoes and picked a cabbage to go with lunch. I've cooked meals for next week as I know it's going to be busy when I go back to work. It will be easier if I don't have to worry about whats for tea when I get home completely knackered.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.

Good evening everyone ,well I am home for two days as my DGD Katie and her fiancee Tommy came to lunch.Bless them they brought it all with them so I didn't have to cook at all and washed up and Katie tidied round the sitting room for me.
DD Tessaand her OH and four boys were going to watch the Gills play at home against Tranmere as son-in-law had some freebie tickets. So rather than be on my own we arranged that I could come home for a couple of days and I'm back at her house again on Sunday morning for a few more days. DD worries that if I am on my own too much I will start to do too much whereas if I'm at their house I have six pairs of beady eyes making me behave :):).

DGD Katie made a nice lunch, and she also brought me a very pretty bunch of tulips bless her.Her and Tommy are waiting for their contracts to be sorted as they have just bought their first house .They are hoping to make it down the aisle next year if the money stretches:):) different than my day I suppose :) but they have been engaged for three years and going out together for five since Katie was sixteen. They seem very happy together,I don't see a lot of them as she is a nursery nurse and Tommy is an HGV driver and both work long hours ,plus they live a distance away from me so today was a lovely treat.

Tomorrow night I am going to dinner at my eldest DDs house as her in-laws are coming down from London so I shan't be cooking then either. Youngest DD insists that she picks me up on Sunday morning again for a few more days I can't drive for another four weeks anyway. The boys have been little stars, and have spoilt me dreadfully :):) Tonight I am going to put my feet up and relax in my own little sitting room and just count my blessing at how lucky I am to have such a caring family around me.
I hope you have a great birthday hilstep and also get spoiled as well :):)
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes When I am at DDs its a bit hard to get five minutes on the house computer so I thought I'd wait until I had my own to say thank you to you all
Stitches are out now, and just a bit stiff at times, but getting better by the day .
Cheers everyone I hope you all have a super Easter
