REdX. I don't have "the blinkers on". I checked my threads, and the one I posted (referenced by the link) had all replies continuing to advise, "ignore - pccs ar all scammers.. nowt they can do". I've already dealt with the illegal notice received here. Whilst I appreciate that people here give advice in good faith, it is not reasonable to tell them "You should have done this then" if the advice here, and everywhere else (except PCC websites, obviously) was to ignore the (PCC) blighters. *That's* the point being made.

Shame, it's not like the law being changed etc. was a secret or anything.

You are still thinking we should have crystal balls, sorry but at that time we weren't 100% sure what advice was correct , we went from companies issue less than a thousand claims for the entire lot of them, to one company issuing that a week !

How the hell are we supposed to advise on that? How the hell are we supposed to know that the tactics were changing so much ? Now I suggest instead of you trying to blame us for what these scum are doing, try to concentrate on your situation.

If you want help on that, try helping yourself! We can't do it all for you, this is and always has been a self help website, we can only advise in general for the most part, you have to do the rest. And it's the same with CAG and Pepipoo
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

he also ignored this forum for 15 months , between jan 2013 when he posted in the POFA 2012 thread until april 2014 , so clearly not checking what had changed in the meantime until an LBCCC from PE hit the doormat

judging by the other thread that was posted, this person is right and the rest of us are wrong, I wasnt even a forum member back then but I do know more about it even though I have had no parking tickets over the years and he admits to several , not only that coupon-mad posted about using popla for england and wales in that thread too , so the advice was clearly there back then, although nobody knew the implications of not doing so as it took a while before the court cases started

until its actually over, it not over , I do not think its the last we shall hear of his parking ticket issue anyway

but this thread is about the OP and not him , so back to the original topic posed by the OP
