  • Hi Rokat, over the last two days I have read the diary on and off. Im impressed at your commitment.

Your OH must be doing a fair bit of something with all the cash withdrawals. Do you know where any of it goes? Pub? Hobbies? Fruit machines? Charity donations? It might be worth asking him to document how much he draws out and what he spends it on, it may help him realise if a lot of it is wasted somewhere and bring him on board with your debt busting journey.

Thanks StrugglingYouth for stopping by! :)

Well it turns out that the OH has bought an Xbox One so thats where his money has gone this month! I cant really be angry at him because it is his money and he has worked hard for it but seriously he could have saved a bit each month for it instead of spending almost his whole wage this month! Looking on the bright side, at least he didnt use credit :o

Had a bit of a spendy week this week so not many more no spend days but all spends were essentials like food, petrol and tights! I have had 3 pairs of tights that I bought together a while ago, really thick and comfy, and because I live in dresses it means I also live in tights in the colder months! Well I was at work a few days ago and caught my tights on a filing cabinet and they tore all the way down the back! Another pair had two holes in the foot that were getting bigger with each wash and the third looked ready for the bin! So bought some more but did go for the more expensive ones in the hope that they will last me a while!

Talking about tights I didn't need to wear them today or yesterday because of the gorgeous weather! :j

Ooo some more good news... well maybe! It has been hinted by management that another promotion could be on the cards for me to start in September! More responsibility and more money! :D Would love it to happen but need to wait until June to see what the boss decides! Fingers Crossed!!

Not much more on the debt front as still need to wait for how much of a payrise Im getting at the end of this month to decide what to do! I think I should be able to double my DMP payments which would bring my debt free date to mid 2017 instead of the end of 2021!!! :T

Weigh in tomorrow morning so off for a short run in the hope that it will make a difference :rotfl:

Another 1lb loss this week :) only 2lbs to go to get to my target weight! :)

Had a bit of a naughty day yesterday, for money and diet! Went out for a nice meal with some work friends as someone is leaving... Ended up quite drunk from only a few glasses of wine as I dont really drink anymore since I started losing weight so I have turned into a lightweight haha. Ended up spending £35 on the meal and drinks which is a bit naughty :o and I dont even want to think about how many calories were in my meal, desert AND wine!!

Not much else to report really. Its half term now for me so a nice week off but OH is still at work so its a week of catching up with house work and all the boring things that get forgotten about when youre working all the time! Will hopefully be a minimum spend week :)

I am doing quite well sticking to my budgets! For the first time ever I have had left over cash which today I have put into my Emergency Fund :T

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend :)

I know there is still one more day in May but I thought I'd look at my targets now that I set for May.

    Targets for May;
:)15 no spend days Only managed 12 but still quite good
:)Carry on with spending diary Have done this everyday on my phone which really helps!
:)Lose 7lbs (which will get me to my target weight!) I lost 6lbs this month!
    :)Save £100 Done!
:)Get rid of QuickQuid debt Done! :T
:)Sell things on Eb@y to make enough money to do something nice (and cheapish!) for mine and OH's anniversary at the end of the month. We ended up going to the cinema with free tickets and got a takeaway which OH paid for :) Very romantic haha

I also paid £325 off by debt :) and now that my quickquid debt has gone and Ive got my payrise I can up my DMP payments :T

I've joined NSK's challenge for June so hopefully that will give me more will power :o
