Hi Guys,
Just like to thank you. Got a M.E.T. ticket 2 weeks ago, used the template letter in the sticky at the top of this section. Got a letter from met today cancelling the charge.
I hate them with all my being. Some people, especially older people and people who are more vulnerable than us, would have paid up without a whimper and that's how these scumbags prosper. It should in my opinion be illegal and our beloved government (Corrupt !!!!!! they are as well) should put a stop to these con artists immediately:mad:
Sorry, I'll get off me soap box now.
Once again, thank you :T :money:

You would have had an easy win anyway ..
I beat Met at POPLA for this location only a month or so ago. They did not even bother to offer POPLA any evidence. The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]

Perhaps suggesting they recognise they have no lawful locus to issue and enforce such spurious charges.
'Thanks very much, but we'll wait to entrap a less knowledgeable victim. Foxtrot Oscar, over and out - we've got tickets to deal with.' :cool:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
