Hi All
Not sure where to post this - I know that I had PPI on a Mortgage with Bradford and Bingley in 1989- but stupidly chucked out all the paperwork - I have the reference numbers - how can I go about making a PPI claim - we have since re mortgaged
Thanks in advance

What do you think has been done wrong, when and by who?0 -
There's nothing wrong with a monthly ppi for your mortgage.0

how can I go about making a PPI claim
MPPI is a standalone policy in most cases and not linked directly to the mortgage. It is one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints fail.
You need to state your reasons for complaint (noting that MPPI needs stronger reasons than loan and credit card PPI) and send the complaint to the firm that sold it (lender if it was their product or broker if it was done by them).
What are your reasons for complaint? Who sold it? (last one is key as most mortgage advisers/brokers were not regulated for insurance until Jan 2005)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
