in Credit cards
I know British Airways has a Credit Card where you get 1 Avios for every £1 you spend.
Are there any other similar cards where you get miles for using them?

Lloyds Bank and TSB both have Avios credit cards.0 -

There is also those which are indirect like any of the Amex cards that give MR points or a Tesco card where both allow you to transfer their points to miles.0

Depends which airlines you want, you can get various Avios cards from AMEX, Lloyds, TSB etc. Virgin offers a White and Black card for Flying Club accrual likewise AA, Emirates, Etihad and Lufthansa have cards.jumperabv3 wrote: »I know British Airways has a Credit Card where you get 1 Avios for every £1 you spend.

Head for Points has good articles one what cards are available, here is the April Update.
Personally I'm applying for an Emirates Skywards CC from MBNA as it suits me the best for what I do, Emirates+SPG=Powerhouse of rewards for my personal situation.
Do you fly only BA or do you fly with AA, Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic or another airline? Once we know that, we could offer better suggestions

I would fly with any airline that has generous reward scheme ... what type of UK credit cards are linked to Emirates or Lufthansa?0 -
Lloyds are good for that, they have a range of american express credit cards that offer more then 1 point to the £.
I know they also have one where if you spend a certain amount on it in a year you get a free BA worldwide companion ticket. Also includes things like access to airport lounges as well.0 -
2 questions:
1) I've applied for the Virgin Airlines and got it approved with a 3,400 GBP credit limit - is it good or bad?
2) I've also applied for British AMEX but made a mistake in the form, and now they tell me they need 10 days to decide ... I tried to fill out another application with the correct details but they refuse to accept duplicate applications ... so I guess I will wait for their post.0 -
So not Lufthansa and you're going about it wrong, you fly with the airline that goes to your destination not the one with the most generous rewards scheme.jumperabv3 wrote: »I would fly with any airline that has generous reward scheme ... what type of UK credit cards are linked to Emirates or Lufthansa?
MBNA offer most of the non-BA airline cards.0 -
