in Credit cards
Hi,
New to posting on here so go easy on me please... although i do visit daily!
10 years ago i got myself into some debt & had a barclay card which i had paid a £500 deposit on, i used the card right up to the £500, they charged me £25 for something or another which meant i then owed them money, i never ever paid it (silly i know!)
I also had a Capital one credit card with £250 limit and again i used it up to the limit (i didn't pay a deposit on this one) again i didn't pay it.
I also had club books and small things which i didn't pay. I have regretted it ever since!
I have since moved, got married and am older and very wiser! I haven't heard anything from these companies since i moved 8/9 years ago. I have now got goodish credit (i think), I have a main credit card which i pay off IN FULL every month. I have a loan which was paid off, and a club book account etc which i pay off in full each month too. I regret getting myself in the mess i did all they years ago!
My question is, if i apply for a barclay card will they still have my details on file from all they years ago? I am afraid to put my details in and then i get DC looking for me.
Is there anyone on the forum that would know? I just am afraid they've kept my details.
Thanks in advance.
(Hope you can make sense of my post.)
