Buying Easter eggs on Monday?

I've got all the Easter eggs I need but will keep an eye on Hotel Chocolat for their sale0

I stand corrected!
Just back from Waitrose, and they had a small shelfful of Easter chocolates/eggs/gifts. Everything reduced to 50% - so you could have waited for a posh egg.
Did you get any bargains?0 -
Missed oppertunity to get in on Monday, however popped into my local Tesco today and there was still atleast 1/4 an aisle with eggs, seemed to be cheapest of the cheap, a big gap then the most expensive ones, all reduced though0

If it tasted the same as bars people wouldn't bother buying it, they would just buy the bars.
Would they though? Surely the appeal for most if the novelty of a big box and a different shape. Offering a kid a bar of chocolate instead doesn't really have the same affect (didn't for me though!)
At least the Cadbury's eggs taste at least similar to their normal choc, their advent calendars are so rank I had to throw two away last year, couldn't even give them away!0 -
Loads in my local Waitrose today. Got a big Lindt milk chocolate egg with caramel truffels half price at £4. Going to save it for my birthday end of May. Also had the Kitkat- Toffee Crisp eggs with mug and choc bars for £2.99 and posh Thorntons, Lily O'Briens and the Waitrose hand made eggs.0

Not a lot of easter bargains at my local tesco yesterday, only 1D eggs for 75p. Did manage to find a couple of 100g bars of cadburys Hoppy Bunny chocolate bars for 50p and a large bag of haribo bunny mix sweets for 50p.0
