Just thought I'd post that TA Spring has recently been released along with source code (Its GPL'ed)! Its obviously based on the original Total Annihilation by Cavedog/Atari which was released around 1997, for those who have never heard of it... its one of my very favourite RTS games, and i've been following the progress of the TA Spring project for a while now. and the downloads section on the site download for the current beta (doesn't have any computer AI yet tho!)... and there are some videos available so you can see what its like. There are some great screen shots at:

Unless you have played the original TA, you may find it hard to appreciate how obsolutely fastastic this game really is... but remember this current release isn't finished! It makes for some absolutely fantastic network gaming!
