Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
alas, I could put it off no longer, after my old man commented on how he seen a platoon of Infantry disappear into the jungle that was my grass with machettes and have yet to come out I decided to cut the grass for the first time this year. However to my frustration  my old leccie lawnmower gets right on my man boobs. (spend more time moving the cable than what I do cutting grass!) so I have decided to buy a petrol one and get the most out of it that I can this and coming years. Ever keen for a bargain (also makes it easier to justify buying to the missus too!) has anyone seen any good deals on Petrol Lawnmowers or does anyone have good sites to buy from etc etc. any help mucho appreciated

I'm not commenting on the quality of the products or even the prices but I have noticed that Argos have 20% off of lawnmowers, you would have to shop around to see if you could get a better deal elsewhere but it is a starting point.

Remember that unless you are handy, you will have to turn to a local supplier eventually when bits break and/or it won't start.

Local suppliers may not be the cheapest, but they are sometimes not far behind the shed deals, as they have access to large group buying power through the Internet. You could do worse than check them out price-wise, to form an opinion on their general level of approachability and helpfulness.

    Sooner or later.....;)
