I smoke, my parents smoke, some friends... you really think that 50 cartons is a lot for heavy smokers?
    Not exactly 'personal use' then.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Actually - with all due apologies if I am mistaken - I'm calling TROLL on this one. The OP's email address for his Dropbox scan link was given as "at2008rus@gmail.com". The poster who uploaded the scan is "rus4u".

OP; grow up and - if you ARE in trouble - then you need professional legal help. If you are NOT, then you need something better to occupy your time and (possibly) professional medical help.

Happy Easter to all, in any case. x

    Hi all,
A while ago I have brought some(not just a few) cartons of cigarettes from Russia to England for my personal use but my luggage was lost. An external company called me on behalf of the airport and asked some questions to identify which is my luggage and I have given some description, but for some reason they forced me into giving them the luggage code and said that to identify it they will to open it up so anyway, when it was returned to me it was empty and there was some papers about confiscate it and have of it it was in Russian so I guess they found out about it in Russian’s airport and just now I have received a letter about it asking me to reply in 30 days to help the investigation or something.
I cannot post scanned letters as it says new users cannot do that, can someone help me with that please? Maybe can send it to you by Email and you can post it for me? please

Have anyone been in such a situation? What’s best for me to do now?

Thanks a lot for any good advise

I wouldn't worry too much - someone we know did this, not from Russia, got caught, at customs, the cigs got confiscated, they got a b*****ing from Customs, along with a warning as to future conduct, and that was the end of it.

Get a fixed fee interview, with a solicitor, though - best to get professional advice.
    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
