Yes. Once our contractual warning signs are erected and an authority agreement signed with the landowner or their agent we can legally issue invoices (parking charge notices). It is legal to levy a parking charge which has been notified (by our signs) to motorists. By parking on land, we patrol, drivers (and, under the proposed new Freedom Bill, the Registered Keeper) enter into a contract as indicated on our signs. Motorists do have a legal right of appeal and the parking charge notice gives full details of this.
With "our" and "we" in the above posts I guess that the poster is with UKCPS Limited. If that is the case I wonder if you could advise as to what new model you will be operating to following the condemnation of the UKCPS current model by the Judge in in your case against Mr Gaskell?
Shame we can't post attachments on here such as the transcript of the case for everyone to use as part of their defence to any actions by UKCPS Limited

Hi Poyplastic,
I think you'll find Esmerobbo is a long standing forum member helping to fight back against PPC's and is only quoting UKCPS.
If you have a transcript of the case the forum would be really interested to see it.
You could post a link to it if you loaded it onto a file sharing site - if you are not yet able to post links just post a broken link by leaving off the http:// part.
I'm sure pepipoo.com and Parking Prankster would also be very interested0 -
I have been accused of some things in my life but a PPC employee I'am gutted.
You may find I copied that paragraph from their website!
If you dig a little you will find I am no friend of Mr Heswell!

In my yard I had my own way of deterring interlopers!0 -
My apologies esmerobbo.

Given the Judge points out they have clearly breached the BPA code of practice I do hope a complaint has been made.0
-
Indeed, a bit hard for BPA Ltd. and DVLA to pretend there is no breach when a judge has said it so firmly.Je suis Charlie.0
