HaHa
I have been ignoring all the nasty threats from UKPC with relatioons to tickets in the Gallagher Retail park in Dundee Scotland.
Now a funny story. Went into the local post-office today to find out who has sent me a stampless letter that the post-office wants £1.53 for.
Amazingly the women in front of me had the same postcard requiring £1.53
Lo and behold the postie brings us through identical letters both without return address but both clearly from UKPC.
I chatted with the women who indeed had conducted the same "offence" as me.
Needless to say we both declined to pay the £1.53.
My question in jest is could I reclaim the £1.53.
Maybe issue a few threatening letters if they don't respond.
Anyone know if this is some sort of underhand tactic on their part ?

I don't believe for one second that UKPC "forgot" to stamp/frank their letters, so here we have yet more dodgy practices - mass mailing that the unwary recipients end up paying the postage on.
Very professional of UKPC, I don't think. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke Irish orator, philosopher, & politician (1729 - 1797).0 -
You could always e-mail steve.c@britishparking.co.uk to see what laughable excuse the BPA Ltd comes up with to condone this behaviour.Je suis Charlie0

You could always send unstamped letters to the address they use for receiving cheques. Just put an appropriate message inside for themWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
