Tried calling the number on his profile and says incorrect number - No contact from him in 3 days and no reply either to my message - I am the seller not the buyer
Anybody who "buys" a car and then doesn't make contact for 3 days is very unlikely to complete the transaction.

Soolin said it is up to the seller, ie it is up to you. If you feel a dud number and no contact in 3 days (bearing in mind it is August and lots of people are busy with children or perhaps on holiday) then you may feel that is long enough.
Have you used the advanced tab to get member details, the phone number there may be different and hopefully uptodate.0 -

what is advanced tab?
On your main My Ebay page at the end of the main search bar is an 'advanced' link.
Click that. Find contact info. Add item number and username.
You will get an email within 1 minute with a contact number on.
Or try this http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ebayadvsearch?_sofindtype=90 -

thanks for that, same info and same number, have canceled sale and reported non payment and incorrect details to ebay and now relisted.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -
If you've relisted, make sure you block that same buyer from bidding again.0

Thanks soolin, I an not a big seller but recently have had a couple of large collection only items paid for straight away by PayPal. I refunded them straight away with a PM saying why, one came next day with cash, the other never answered so I eventually got my fees back as they were the only bidder.0

Firstly, check your expanded dashboard, there is a very good chance you have defects which for a small seller could be a problem. Secondly, I am surprised ebay allowed you to do a full NPB on an item that had been paid - you must have fallen through one of their glitches to have been able to do that. Sometimes glitches can work in a sellers favour- not often, but it sounds like it did for you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes you do, you cannot use eBay as a seller without a PayPal account. Due to the issues around collection only items as a new seller you might be better off trying local small ads or something like SHpock.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
