Wrong first name on payslips and p60

Hi all I just received P60 and payslip(first one) and my first name is completely wrong, not spelling mistake, but different to my name. I have called hmrc to inform that I have started work, one month on no replay. Can it be that is because of the first name? Can I be accused of fraud or something else? This was not my mistake. Accountants had my full correct details copy of my passport and all other necessary details.
I am receiving CTC so it had to be only update.

Is the national insurance number correct? If so get your employers accountants to correct their records & re issue P60 with right name on it.0

Yes NIN is correct. I have spoke to them and they promised me to correct it. Only concern is that it takes to long for hmrc to process update. They might started investigation or something. It does look like my sister or whoever using my insurance number :-).0

Yes I understand but if they verified me with the wrong name when I started work so hmrc might think that something dodgy going on.0

Change your first name to the new name on your P60 and payslip?These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
