Just a warning (and a bit of a vent), I ordered and paid for rail tickets in Dec 13 from red spotted hanky, which did not arrive. When I contacted them they said the tickets were not available, and I could only have a refund if I could proved that I had paid. As I refuse to kowtow to their incompetence, we have had a prolonged email conversation without a solution. I am currently threatening them with a county court claim. Has anybody else had this problem with red spotted hanky or anybody else?

Why don't you just show them proof your paid? Seems like the easiest option.0 -
Why don't you just have the refund that they offered you and buy your tickets elsewhere seems the easiest and less hassle of your options. If they are offering you a refund why would you want the expense of taking them to county court seems a bit weird.............0

Surely you must have proof you paid? Why all the aggro and hassle when this could so easily be resolved?0

You would also based on the info given be laughed out of court.
- Judge: Has the company in question offered you a refund?
- You: Yes
- Judge: Why have you refused to take the refund?
- You: Because they wanted me to provide proof I paid
- Judge: Then why havent you provided them with proof of your purchase and instead decided to waste the courts time?
- You: Because I didnt want to kowtow to their incompetence

As well as the credit or debit card, surely there would be proof of the transaction in the Redspottedhanky account itself?
If there's nothing there, the order never happened for whatever reason and it's unlikely you would have been charged.0 -
Is this a case that for what ever reason they didn't get paid therefore you can't prove it but still want something for nothing?0
-
Never had a problem with them myself. Does the account show a payment as having been made? Presumably not, in which case the onus is on you to provide the evidence of payment, I'm afraid.0
-
OP did you pay for them? If you did why not show them proof, it makes no sense not to0

Hi, does anyone have a code they don't need through English heritage, thanks for reading0
