I ordered 2 items from play about a month ago they never arrived but my card was debited. My account showed as items despatched.
I received nothing from royal mail
On contacting play they say they have refunded my card and i am now welcome to purchase the goods at the higher price theyre now selling them at.
Do i not have any right to be supplied the items for the price i initially
paid??

Unfortunately not, they along with every other seller can change their prices at their will. Can you not find your items cheaper elsewhere? there are loads of places I have found to be cheaper than play.com0

Yes Hibbs it does really, Scooter have you tried www.4cheapcds.co.uk or check several sites by going through www.find-dvd.co.uk find-cd.co.uk find-games.co.uk there are lots more, to many to list, but as you say it depends what you a looking to buy. If yorkspud would let me know then I could hopefully direct to the best place0

When I had an order go missing from Play their site gave me the option of a refund or replacement, did you call them or go through the My Account section?
Assuming they still do that I guess?0 -
I thought that if they took a payment from your card that you can purchase the item at the higher price and claim the difference back under the "Loss of Bargain" procedure?0

I had ordered heart cushions from play at £5 each 2 of them. They are now £7.99 each. The annoying thing is i ordered some other stuff at the same time and the items which could be pushed through my letter box such as t shirts and anything flat arrived fine.
I just didnt appreciate being told by the guy on the phone that i could purchase the items again but the fact i would have to now pay more was unfortunate.
I missed out on heart cushties at xmas as i umed and arred too long wondering if i would be getting them as a present0 -
yorkshirepud I didnt see the ones on play.com but woolworths have heart cushions @ £6 eac or 2 for £10.
And remember, with woolies you can order online and pick up instore, avoiding delivery charge.
