When I got paid this month, I have started this month moving any residual money into a "Sweepings Up" savings account.

For example, there was £6.74 left in my "Motoring / Petrol a/c" from last month's budget so I rounded that down to £6.00 by moving the remainder of £0.74 to the "Sweepings Up" account :).

If you look after the pennies, the pounds look after themselves :)

    4. Signed up to 'Save the Change' with my bank where they round all my card purchases to the next £ and add the extra into my savings account :)
