Just a quick post to say how useful the information here is, Got a PCN in August last year, lots of letters and ever increasing threats followed, but being in Scotland, and thanks to your excellent advice, ignored it all. Finally the week before Christmas a last gasp attempt was made to extort some money out of me ("we'll take you to court - it'll cost you megabucks" stuff) which once again was ignored Not heard a peep since, so assume they've gone away. Just wanted to say thanks - I found the whole ignoring thing a bit stressful, especially when they kept sending the letters but being able to look all this stuff up and seeing how others had dealt with it kept me determined. Great work. Thank you. :T

Great bit of feedback and well pleased for you. Well done on seeing this through with no direct help required from regular posters, but by your own determination with help derived from personal research and information gleaned from the stickies and most recent threads. :T
Would you mind sharing who the PPC was and whether any Debt Collectors got their snout in the trough as well, please? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I'm happy to hear that pugybugy - I'm very pleased for your success.
It does take a fair degree of faith to continue ignoring in the face of official looking threats of desperate consequences.
Especially stressful to put your trust in unknown folks advice when it's your wallet that will be raped if they are wrong.

The PPC was Civil Enforcement. I did get a debt collectors letter, but can't remember who they were. Will dig out the letters sometime and update.
