Tax credit help

Hi I was supposed to be moving abroad so stopped my tax credits, but I didn't go due to family issues, so child Ben was stopped too and tax credit, would it be a new claim ? Is there a period that it becomes a new claim ?
Thank you for all your help in advance

  • As far as I know Tax credits will be a new clain, but you might be able to re open the child benefit again from cessation date? Others will know better than me.
  • Thank you, is this the case even it's been only a month since I stopped it ?
