Tax Credits NHS Exemption Cert

I checked the NHS flowchart and it looks like we should be entitled to the NHS exemption cert via tax credits for prescriptions can anyone clarify if my understanding is correct please?
Earnings under £15K
In receipt of both child and working tax credit
One of us works 30+ hours SE and one receives higher rate DLA
Looks to me like we should have a certificate to entitle to free prescriptions - can anyone confirm please? We haven't had so far but the income for last year wasn't meant to be below £15K, I only called with an updated estimate February so perhaps they are waiting for confirmed figs before they send it....not sure, but at mo I pay for a PPC so it would be useful if we did qualify.
Thanks in advance

12/13 was higher approx. £16K but 13/14 will be £13K and next year will be est £12K0

Fill in a HC11 a year or 2 ago we thought hubby would be earning more than max amount, but only just, with both of us on 3 scripts a month we would not have been able to affoard it, filled in HC11 and got awarded exemption cert0

Hi Blondebubbles
Ive sorted our figs today and it turns out 13/14 will be circa £14K not the £13K I expected - I know they disregard the first £2500 in the drop from previous years income -
Does this mean 14/15 tax credits provisional award will be based upon last years £14K and we will be eligible for the NHS exemption or will it be based on £14K + the disregard of £2500 i.e. £16500 so we won't be eligible for 14/15 ? sorry to sound dim!
I.e. if its based upon last years income could the 13/14 income have been any amount up the tax credit NHS exemption of £15276 to be eligible for the coming year because it's based upon last years income?0 -
Thank you so much - Im glad! It will only save me £10 on the PPC but it all counts! Will they ask me for an estimate for the coming year or just go off last years £14,000 (which is below the exemption limit)? This is all a little alien, it has only reduced due to me being ill, on ESA, so we've never really been in this position of things dropping to get the NHS exemption cert before.
I assume that the award wouldn't increase the year after if we finalise 14/15 at £12K because it won't have dropped more than £2,500?
Thanks a lot again I appreciate your help0
