Pretty new to the site myself, but I too like many others have had success "Thanks" to MSE.
I received a cheque in the post for £272. Hoorraayy

I got £200 less tax (which I'll be able to reclaim at the end of the tax year, as I.m not a taxpayer!). I was a member of staff at the bank & was told I needed it to be able to reclaim any fraudulent transactions - just shows even we were misled!!

Thank you Martin for making me bother to actually fill in the claim forms and send them off. Result, two weeks later one cheque for my husband for £98 and one for myself for £70 . Well chuffed , had forgotten all about who and when we took protection out with as it was so long ago.

Hi. Just got a cheque through the door for £60.66p. not bad for a few minutes of my time to phone for new claim form and to fill in and post back. didn't even give any policy details as could not find any. So nice little bonus. Good job i was channel hopping when i came across martin Lewis on the this morning program as he was waving the letter lol. timing or what!
