Virgin cable and problems with override providers

Hi there - has anyone had problems with Virgin charging for a call which has gone via an override provider. I registered with 18185 before making a call, following the exact instructions as given by 18185 - I dialled the number provided by 18185 then followed the instructions and dialled the number I wanted (without pressing the green send button on my mobile) but find that both 18185 and Virgin have charged me for the call. 18185 sent a standard email reply basically saying that I need to take it up with Virgin.
Any body else had a problem like this?

Are you dialling the 0808 1 703 703 freephone number to access 18185? I have been using the service for a couple of years and as I am dialling a freephone number have never been charged by Virgin.

That is the way that you have to do it with Virgin telephone lines because I don't think that they directly support override providers. It was the way I did it when I had a Telewest [now Virgin] phone line. Are you dialling the 0808 1 703 703 freephone number to access 18185? I have been using the service for a couple of years and as I am dialling a freephone number have never been charged by Virgin.

You cannot use #18185.0 -
Sorry for the delay in getting back - that's the number I dialled and definitely followed the instructions - rang Virgin and they said they will reimburse me - will keep and eye on next time I use the override0
