Feeling very happy.
I submitted a claim in December 2013 on behalf of my Dad who died in 2006 but had been sold PPI in 2000, I knew after reading a lot of information on this site that he was mis-sold.
Thought I would not get any claim but this morning a letter arrived from Barclays to say my claim had been upheld and a payment of £2170.00 will follow.
Did the claim process myself after reading the help and advise on this site.
Thank you moneysavers this site is invaluable.

That's really interesting Rocket. My dad passed away a few years ago but I know he had started to make a claim (through one of the companies that deal with it). Mum still has all the paperwork.
Might have to do a letter for her.Debt-free wannabe: DMP with Stepchange.

Hi Treenie 01,
I did not use a company and as -taff says cancel the company you do not need them to do it for you, with the help of mse I did it all. keep us posted on here how you get on. I expected nothing so was very pleasantly surprised. It was worth the few hours I spent researching and the price of a stamp.
Good Luck0 -
I agree with other posters, cancel the company in writing and make sure you get a reply in writing.0
