13 Month old parking eye LBC

I have just received a Letter before county court claim from Parking eye for a parking charge over 13 months old, yes you read that right.
What is the advise on this?

Also getting a copy of this is highly recommended.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There are hundreds of PE court claim threads on here against people who ignored them in 2012/13. You haven't got a claim form yet so act fast and respond robustly. You need to wake up, smell the coffee and fight back. Can you name the driver as someone else, truthfully, as that would claw it back to appeal stage for the driver?

All covered in the NEWBIES sticky thread where I mention your options if 'you think you are too late to appeal'. Also complain in writing, urgently and vociferously to the landowner/hospital/retail park management or CEO of any national retailer/hotel group or whatever who you/the driver were a customer of that day. Loads of cases are cancelled that way. If you delay then you will be defending a court claim - but that is NOT a reason to just pay up, far from it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
