Electric cables

Any ideas on how to stop this cat chewing electric cables? Started with the laptop lead and now today she's following me around when I'm hoovering, trying to play with and chew the hoover cable. She gets behind the couch as well and there's an adapter round there with 6 plugs in it... is there anything I can do to stop this?

There are loads of no bite sprays on the market. Get them online or at somewhere like petsathome. they are a bitter, nasty tasting spray that will disuade biting. For things like behind the sofa, I guess you could also maybe sprinkle pepper around to further disuade her from going there.

You could try the cable tidies, the spiral stuff is probably cheaper but the tubing might be more bite-proof
